Gender Reveal?

Both Thomas and I were pushing to have a boy. Although, I was much more enthusiastic about a boy than he was, he’s the last Garner male in his family. Naturally, everyone on his Dad’s side wanted him to have a boy to carry the Garner name for another generation.

On the other hand, my family is full of women. My grandparents had four daughters and one son. My parents had two girls, my mom’s next sister had one girl and one boy, and the next sister had two girls.

In case you lost count, that’s 4 daughters and 5 granddaughters with only one grandson in the mix. Talk about an “Estrogen Fest”.

So, you guessed it, I was wishing and hoping for a boy too.

Although, one day I’d love to have a girl who can tell me when my eyebrows aren’t in style anymore, and help me dress cute when I’m older, and pluck grey hairs out of my chin (gross, I know…but those days will come…) I feel I need a daughter eventually too.

So what was the end result? What will Baby G be?
